Privacy Policy

TechVault ("we," "us," or "our") operates a platform that connects engineers and other professionals with companies for project-based contract work. We use a privacy-first, double-blind matching process designed to protect your identity. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how our staged-disclosure process works, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you register, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your resume / CV and its contents
  • Your LinkedIn profile or other professional links (optional)
  • Your skills, technologies, and years of experience
  • Your current or most recent employer (used only in masked form — see Section 3)
  • Your English level and any other details you choose to provide

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Match you with relevant company projects
  • Contact you regarding opportunities and your application
  • Operate, improve, and secure our platform

3. Our Double-Blind Matching Process & Staged Disclosure

To protect your privacy, we do not reveal your identity to companies up front. Your information is disclosed only in stages, and only as the matching progresses:

  • Stage 1 — Registration: Your information is stored in our private candidate pool. Nothing is shared with companies yet.
  • Stage 2 — Matching pool: Companies may view an anonymized profile — your resume content, expertise level, skills, and experience. Your name is hidden, and your current employer is shown only in a masked, generalized form (for example, "FANG" or "Top 500 global company") — never the actual employer name.
  • Stage 3 — Selection: When you apply to a project or a company selects your anonymized profile, the company's name is revealed to you so you can decide. The company still does not see your name.
  • Stage 4 — Acceptance: Only if you accept is your full name and complete profile revealed to that company.

In short: your name and your current employer's name are never disclosed to a company without your consent through this process. Note that while we take these measures to protect your identity, we cannot absolutely guarantee against circumstances outside our control.

4. Data Storage & International Transfer

Your information is stored using Supabase, a third-party cloud infrastructure provider. Our servers and data may be located outside of Japan, including in other countries. By registering, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data outside of your country of residence, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI). We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including access controls and secure storage.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share your information with companies only through the staged double-blind process described in Section 3. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

TechVault（以下「当社」といいます）は、エンジニアをはじめとする専門人材と、 プロジェクト単位の業務委託を希望する企業とをマッチングするプラットフォームを運営しています。 当社は、応募者の身元を保護するために設計されたプライバシー重視のダブルブラインド・マッチング方式を採用しています。本ポリシーは、収集する情報、段階的な情報開示の仕組み、 およびお客様の選択について説明します。

1. 収集する情報

ご登録の際、当社は以下の情報を収集する場合があります。

  • 氏名、メールアドレス
  • 履歴書・職務経歴書およびその内容
  • LinkedInプロフィールその他の職務関連リンク（任意）
  • スキル、使用技術、実務経験年数
  • 現在または直近の勤務先（マスクされた形式でのみ使用 — 第3項参照）
  • 英語レベル、その他ご提供いただく情報

2. 情報の利用目的

当社は、以下の目的のためにのみお客様の情報を利用します。

  • 関連する企業プロジェクトとのマッチング
  • 案件および応募に関するご連絡
  • プラットフォームの運営・改善・セキュリティ確保

3. ダブルブラインド・マッチングと段階的な情報開示

お客様のプライバシーを保護するため、当社は最初から企業に身元を開示することはありません。 情報は、マッチングの進行に応じて段階的にのみ開示されます。

  • ステージ1 — 登録: 情報は当社の非公開の候補者プールに保管されます。この時点で企業に共有される情報はありません。
  • ステージ2 — マッチングプール: 企業は匿名化されたプロフィール（職務経歴の内容、専門レベル、スキル、経験）を閲覧できます。氏名は非表示で、現在の勤務先はマスクされた一般的な表現（例：「FANG」「グローバル上位500社」）でのみ表示され、実際の勤務先名は表示されません。
  • ステージ3 — 選考: お客様が案件に応募するか、企業が匿名プロフィールを選択した時点で、企業名がお客様に開示され、ご判断いただけます。 この時点でも企業はお客様の氏名を確認できません。
  • ステージ4 — 承諾: お客様が承諾された場合にのみ、氏名および完全なプロフィールがその企業に開示されます。

つまり、お客様の氏名および現在の勤務先名は、このプロセスを通じたお客様の同意なしに企業へ開示されることはありません。 なお、当社はこれらの保護措置を講じますが、当社の管理を超える事情に対して絶対的な保証を行うものではありません。

4. データの保管および国外移転

お客様の情報は、第三者クラウドインフラ提供事業者であるSupabaseを利用して保管されます。 当社のサーバーおよびデータは日本国外（他国を含む）に所在する場合があります。ご登録いただくことにより、 お客様は、個人情報保護法（APPI）に従い、居住国外でのデータの移転・保管・処理に同意されたものとみなされます。 当社は、アクセス制御や安全な保管を含む合理的な保護措置を講じます。

5. 情報の共有

当社は、第3項に記載のダブルブラインドの段階的プロセスを通じてのみ、お客様の情報を企業と共有します。 広告目的で第三者に個人情報を販売することはありません。

6. データの保持および削除

当社は、上記の目的に必要な期間に限り情報を保持します。お客様は、 下記の連絡先までご連絡いただくことで、いつでも個人情報の開示・訂正・削除を請求できます。
